Apostle Dr. Shelley Crozier

Apostle, author, pastoral counselor, and minister of grace,  Dr. Shelley spent more than a decade laboring within the political arena of Central, Ohio seeking to cultivate a community that provided a voice for the marginalized and disenfranchised. At twenty-two years old, she became the youngest serving Executive Director of the nation’s oldest historically black political organization. As the Executive Director of The Ohio Legislative Black Caucus, she tirelessly worked alongside the state's African American legislators to formulate public policy that promoted equality for all.  ​

 

However, after the birth of her first child in 2000, Dr. Shelley had her very own “road to Damascus” experience, at which time the Lord radically changed her perspective and set her on a new course. Since then, Dr. Shelley has committed herself to being a champion for Christ, while staying deeply connected to the justice issues of the day.  This has included participating in and spearheading countless outreaches in her local community relating to human trafficking, poverty, and the sanctity of human life. Dr. Shelley served as the Executive Director of The Women’s Clinic of Columbus (TWC), lauded as one of the top pregnancy resource centers in the nation under her direction. During her four-year tenure at TWC, Dr. Shelley saw over 7,000 innocent lives saved from the grips of abortion! Make no mistake about it, it was her passion for the pre-born and her compassion for the post-abortive woman that acted as the driving force behind her service.

 

In 2016 Dr. Shelley founded a dynamic counseling and discipleship ministry called The Well Healing and Discipleship Center. While serving as a Pastor, she partnered with the Holy Spirit to put together the broken lives of God’s people. Through the work of this ministry, Dr. Shelley envisioned facilitating the radical transformation of the modern church which is only made possible by the love of God being shed abroad in the heart of all believers.​

 

Once again Dr. Shelley answered the Father’s call to shift. She has taken on Apostolic leadership within the Body of Christ with great humility. Walking out this new Apostolic mantle has opened new doors and presented many challenges.  The Sixteen Nation mandate of The Well Encounter is to establish places of encounter worldwide that facilitate regional transformation, prepare the Bride, and usher in the return of Christ. While completing this assignment, Dr. Shelley became greatly troubled by the absence of people of color on the mission field. In response to this void, Dr. Shelley has launched Ruach Global (2024), a global missions and humanitarian organization, established to fulfill the Great Commission by developing a culture of prayer, worship, evangelism, discipleship, and global humanitarian service among people of color toward people of color.​

 

Dr. Shelley has authored numerous books including The Fearless, Clean Hands Pure Hearts, and Made Whole. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Shelley is a graduate of The Ohio State University, Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and Liberty University School of Divinity. She is the proud mother of two adult children and countless spiritual children. Dr. Shelley resides in Central, Ohio.
