The Full Story
Sawubona House
Sawubona House is the first House of Prayer and Mission Base of Ruach Global Missions and House of Prayer, established in the heart of the Windermere neighborhood of KZN. More than just a place, Sawubona is a sacred space where the community is invited to encounter the transforming beauty of His Holiness through continuous prayer and worship.

What makes Sawubona House truly unique is the powerful testimony of its leadership—women who have been set free from the cycles of sexual exploitation and addiction and now stand as living witnesses to the redemptive power of Jesus. This house of prayer is a glimpse of heaven on earth, where the fire on the altar is never extinguished.

Sawubona House is also home to Project Sawubona, a mission dedicated to bringing restoration and renewal to the community. As we prepare our space for day and night prayer, evangelism, and discipleship, we invite you to join us in intercession.

Mission
Our mission is simple yet profound: to host the presence of God so fully that His glory remains, bringing lasting revival and reformation to people and places.
"On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent." — Isaiah 62:6
Vision
At our 24/7 House of Prayer, we are committed to cultivating an unceasing atmosphere of prayer and worship, creating a dwelling place for the Glory of the Lord. We believe that when His presence is honored and sustained, hearts are transformed, lives are restored, and entire communities are renewed.

Through day and night intercession and worship, we stand in the gap for our city, calling heaven to invade earth. As we lift high the name of Jesus, we expect to see addictions broken, families healed, and justice restored. Beyond personal transformation, we believe that the very infrastructure of our community will shift as the fire on the altar never goes out.

We are also committed to fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Command through evangelism and disciple-making efforts. Visit our Projects page for more information.
